On PCs

  1. Launch Google Chrome
  2. Go to Settings > Search engine > Search engine used in the address bar
  3. From the drop-down list, select the search engine of your preference
  4. Close the tab.

On Smartphones

  1. Open Google Chrome
  2. Go to Settings > Search engine
  3. Choose the search engine from the list 
  4. Close the Settings

You will now notice that every time you will use the default search bar of Chrome, it will show you the result in the search engine you chose.

Pro Tip: If you want to add any other search engine which is not on the list in Chrome, you can do that as well. On your Chrome in PC, go to Settings > Search engine > Manage search engines. Click on the Add button beside ‘Other search engines’ and type the search engine name, keyword, and URL. Unfortunately, you can not do this in Chrome for Android/iOS.
